Lord Rib-Tet gave a single glance towards his blessed servant Quik-Witi and he immediately nodded. Marching down the giant steps of the temple pyramid he gave one shriek to the mass gathered below and like a well oiled machine the 20 chosen Saurus gathered at the foot of the mighty monolith lead by Karak a venerated champion of his kinds. Quik-Witi gave the ancient warrior a quick glance and Karnak snarled! Lifting his mighty axe up high and giving a bellowing roar, he was met by 19 golden spears lifted high into the sky and drumming on their death turtle shell shields. Quik-Witi lead the predatory warriors to the guardians of the engine sat aloft a great rock. The engine was sacred to the Lizardmen but he knew that it was his best hope of channeling the power of Chotec onto their foes. Fire cleanses all after all. As he chattered to his Skink brethren and they began tapping the rock, and the giant rad stone appeared to rise from the ground. Shaking from what had been a peaceful week long slumber, Ankelo rose and shook his fortified hide to his bludgeoning club like tail.
They marched for a day along the coast until they saw the undead hoard. Quik-Witi felt the evil trying to consume his body and mind but before the tendrils of death could take him, he looked to the ruined temple, where he saw a short Lustrian Bloat Toad. He glanced at it for but a moment and he felt his masters will over powering the Necromancer's ethereal claws. With a shriek the blue tide moved forward.
The dire wolves howled at the smell of rotten flesh as the fleshy hoard of zombies creeped forward inch by inch lead by the master of the dark arts. The hounds leaped forward bu then stopped as if being restrained on invisible leads. The mighty Bastiladon lumbered forward like a moving foretress as the enemies foul cart moved into position. Undaunted, (more likely unaware) Ankelo lowered his front to arch the machine at the undead mass that approached them. Karnak, along side Quik-Witi trenched forward behind Ankelo's great shield.
As the scaly forced approached, the Necromancer began to battle Quik-Witi on the Aestral plain. In a dazed and confused state, the Skink Preist could not focus his energy on the machine at first and so blessed his Saurus cousins with the feral strength that is given by Itzl to all of the cold-blooded beasts to be found in the tropical Lustrian Jungles. 20 ear shattering roars came up to try and intimidate their foes, but it only fell on death ears.
All of a sudden, Ankelo slumped, Quick-Witi noticing the Necromancer pointing his dreaded dagger at the majestic beast. The wolves sprang forward crashing into the Bastiladon's armour. Then the unthinkable happened, 52 zombies ran forward to try and take advantage of the crippled monster others being raised in their wake by the evil sorcerer. Standing just in time Ankelo's carers jumped at the wolves spiking one in the eye, the wolves tried to retaliate but all that was lost were a few fangs on the wolves part. Stomping on one and crushing another one with his tail, the usual gentle giant became a weapon of death. The zombies looked forward too a mighty feast of lizard flesh but Karnak's Saurus pierced the dead flesh with their spears. The fight raged on seeing more and more zombies crumble under the force of the reptilian glory.

The Necromancer gave a shriek of his own and disappeared leaving only a pile of dead corpses next to the fight. The Lizardmen had won this battle as Quik-Witi came to. Their home was safe once again... but for how much longer...
